cheese, mt. dew, and grey's anatomy

lately so many awesome things have been happening!
scott and my financial aid went through and was processed.
we had a little problem because i had filed my fafsa as i was in the year of 2009-single and a dependent.
scott filed his fafsa as he was in 2009- single and independent.
so when they pulled up our file they noticed that ours were different.
apparantly, it doesnt matter if you got married after the fact.
if you are married when you file your fafsa, then it doesn't matter if you were married in the specific year that you are filing for.
so, since they had to process my whole financial aid file over- once again- i figured that i wouldn't be able to attend class seeing as how i would've been dropped if my tuition wasn't paid. i was really really bummed and on the verge of tears.
luckily, the financial aid office was awesome and said that since scott received financial aid and my packet would look exactly the same as his since i didn't work in the year of 2009, that they would o.k the cashier to charge my tuition to my account.
and since scott received his book voucher, we shared it since most of our books were hand-me downs from friends and family.
talk about major score! i am so happy!

i also had my sister and her fiance, jett, over for dinner.
i made...

herbed chicken in pastry!
and it was absolutely amazing.
[sorry for the crappy quality photo... its the cell. my camera battery died and i have been to lazy to go to walmart and put new bateries in... wait, did i say lazy? i meant busy ;) ]

-heat the oven to 400
- put the thawed chicken on a skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each
side or until it is starting to turn brown.
- roll out your pastry in to as many pieces of chicken as you are cooking
(i used the crescent roll pillsburry dough boy one)
- cut up small pieces of cheese (any cheese will do. i used pepperjack and it was delicious!)
and place them on to your pastry
- place your piece of chicken in the pastry with cheese and roll up the pastry over the chicken
-cook in the oven for another 25 minutes or until your chicken is completely cooked
(don't worry about the pastry so much. i was scared that it was going to burn, but it didn't at all.)
and enjoy!
as for the rice, you mix one cup of rice, one 1/3 cup water, and one can of cream of mushroom soup.
cook on 375 for 35 minutes.

i made cheesecake brownie swirl for dessert and it was great!
i would love to say i had some awesome recipe for it, but i dont.
i followed the instructions on the box containing all the mix, haha.
go out and buy it! the best $3 i have spent in a while!
yum!
we laugh and hung out.
and of course drank mountain dew!
all in all a great night!
now i'm off to go watch grey's anatomy and do some homework.
school and work tomorrow!

peace out ;)
